Hi guys novice here i need advice on building a new gaming desktop

My budget is $500-$700 im not looking to play heavy detailed game so im looking for a mid tier gaming desktop probably i7. Im currently playing ragnarok online. And everytime theres woe my fps drops to 30 fps so any advice for part i can only order at amazon so please dont suggest something othr than amazon coz i live in guam and its hard to order from id company in states.

Does those id company ships here on guam via usps? So $700 is the cheapest way to make a mid tier gaming desktop? Anyways i never had the experience on making one but im a fast learner if its just plain screw and snap but if it involves soldering then i might fail. So an tutorial fromu guys would be nice. Btw is it recommended going this route than buying a $700 dollargaming desktop? Do i get better setup with this than the premade ones? Please keep opinions coming guys.

There is no soldering at all involved. Also, building is better than buying, as you save money. I think the above build fits your needs well.

Uhhh ok your recommendation says intel i3 3.4 gigahertz but ANHDs recommendation is intel i7 3.4 gigahertz so which one is faster? For the videocard that both of u guys recommended which is better. Btw can i just download the windows online and install it? And for windows 8.1 i heard its buggy for most games is this true? Or should i stick to windows 7 that i have in my current laptop?

An i7 isn't going to do anything for you, for games, without a graphics card. Ignore the i7 builds. The second one has a GPU, but a horrible bundled power supply. Plus it is missing parts for a full build. I cannot recommend anything but a legal copy of Windows. If by downloading, that means getting it straight from Microsoft, then yes you can. I personally would stay with Win 7. PCpartpicker just didn't have the option on an Amazon only build. The i5/270x build I posted earlier is the fastest one.

I HAS GPU IN MY BUILD. STEAM BOX!!!!! AND I HAVE PSU WITH CASE. LISTEN TO ME IF U WANT AN I7. But i do agree you dont need an i7.

That PSU, in that case, is a paperweight with the ability to go up in smoke. Even Dell uses better PSU's than that thing.

You'd succeed trying detonate your building with it rather than using it to reliably power a pc.
