hi help with audio problems

hi i built my own pc a ouple days ago when everything was in place, it was working perfect except i noticed that when i connected my headphones in one of the front audio jacks i got this screechy noise then i pluged the same headphone in one of the back audio ports it was fine, not sure if its the motherboard or case's front audio port thats messed. speakers are working fine
