Installed a second SSD & it is not recognized by Windows 10 or the Bios.

Im looking to use it as a separate drive. So have not used any of the migration tools provided by Samsung.
 
Use the samsung magician app. It might help. Go to disk management and see if it is there. If it is, initialize the drive and create a new partition. The trim function probably won't work if the OS is not on the SSD. But you can use the samsung magician to optimize the SSD every so often.
