Hi, I have DIR-615 D-link router. I want to use it as a access point but the problem is when I set it on factory setting it do

You are going to have to restate your issue it is not clear the way you posted it. There is a sticky post on this forum as well as alot of instructions on how to use a router as a AP. You can even find youtube videos.

thanks for your attention. All videos, instructions given on net or you tube they are not working i only managed to get into the router settings after resetting it factory settings by pressing and holding the reset button but i cant get into it as a admin. i want to use that router as a access point as i have DSL connection and i just need some wifi signals to use net on my phone. i dont know what is going worng. i did every possible method i could find on net by myself. need advise on this. as a matter of fact i am not a computer geni so i have to find the solutions on internet when ever i came across with some issue.

jimasek thanks for your answer and time. I did it for so many times but the network appears is not taking any password i could remember. more over after spending some time on internet i managed to get into router setting but i could not change any thing in it. if i simply put internet cable into LAN ports it gives out a network which dont accept any password even if i leave it blank and try to get into. I want to get into router settings as Admin. please advise

Firstly you must to do default reset on d-link, next step connect through ethernet cable, enter in internet browser http://192.168.0.1 (Admin/none) and you have to setup DHCP disable.
