[SOLVED] Hi I run a AMD 2700X 8 Core CPU in my AX370 K5 Motherboard, the BIOS now support incs the AMD 12 core 9 x3900 will all 12 cores be active?

Hi Thank you for reply - it helped me decide so rather than do an incremental upgrade I may probably save my pennies and now go for a new X570 motherboard at the same time with faster memory as well. Thank you

If you're going for a X570 board look at the picture below. Higher = better VRM's.

3600MHz RAM at CAS16 in the form of 2 sticks from a kit should be fine too.

Built the system in my signature a month and a half ago. Not regretting it so far. :)
