His 6970 2gb

I havnt decided on psu, case,hd,etc. I want to get the bigger items out of the way first.

My goal is to crossfire the 6970 some time in the future. Right now my main concern is getting the right mb for the right price. Any comments and questions would be greatly appreciated for the above items.

That looks like a good start.

For future crossfire, I'd recommend a 700W to 800W 80+ Bronze (or better) PSU from Antec, Corsair, XFX, Silverstone, or Seasonic.

HDD will depend on budget, but a 1TB HDD is good enough ($60ish), with a SSD or 80-120GB as a boot drive optional.

and cases are purely subjective.

Nice, thanks for the reply. Also, sorry if the post was vague and i didnt stick with the template. Im on my touch and its a pain.

Another question, the 2500k and asus z68 combo comes out to be like $400. Is there another mb that is cheaper that will perform as well as that asus (above link)? Is that even a mb that i should be considering for gaming? Again, thanks for any replies.
