Thanks for taking the time to reply,

I just put that case in there to fill the spot (should've included that in my original post, sry) I think the corsair SPEC-01 Red led might be a cheaper solution. Is 16 Gb of ram really necessary? I heard 8 Gb is more than enough for a gaming pc.

Get the 16gb so you don't need to add more later.
The spec 1 only comes with one fan so the cost of adding anouther to the front for proper airflow puts you at the spec 3 price.
