Question Hi toms hardware

Hey yall.. I am in desperate need of some assistance with my new monitor.. At this point I had tried EVERY single comment, sugjestion and solution and im all out of brain power. So recently i had bought my first 1440p monitor its the ACER VG271u nitro and i was supper pumped to get that bad boy home and start gaming. but when i booted up my game it runs smooth then when theres alot on the screen it starts to stutter bad. when i got the monitor i thought it was my GPU because it was a 6600xt which i read was meant for 1080p so i went out and for a 6800xt. still stutters. Then i noticed my psu was 500w and i read that the 6800 is recomended with 750 so i got a new psu and it still stutters. I did a DDU to get fresh amd install, i tried optimizing my game with all different settings, i did a fresh install onto windows 10. I tried custom tuning on the amd adrenalin. i tried changing bio settings, i got rid of all the overlays i can. I did something with CMOS. i tried changing the hz to 60. i tried to run my games at 1080. And countless other things. I am all out of ideas at this point and i really need help 🙁 im not the best with computers to troubleshooting this is basically out of my reach. i was told i may need a new motherboard but that is the only thing i havnt tried. ANY suggestions will help, thank you 🙂

Have you tried running a benchmark tool like 3D Mark? Do you only get the stuttering in a certain game, or all of them?

Motherboard: gigabyte X570 gaming
GPU: 6800xt
CPU: ryzen 7 3700x
32g corsair ddr4
thermaltake 750w

Have you tried running a benchmark tool like 3D Mark? Do you only get the stuttering in a certain game, or all of them?

the game i am running is Destiney 2, but boy lemme tell ya i thought it was a destiney issue but i have tried every nook and cranny revolving around destiney with no solve. but i have tried using heaven benchmark with no issues. i think its worth mentioning i have been playing other games with slight stuttering but they are less demanding like rust

i had just ran 3dmark and it had 0 issues, also tested on cyberpunk with highest settings. 0 issues. so i guess that means its a desitney only issue?

Sounds like it is a Destiny issue. I have never played Destiny so I am unfamiliar with its settings or what technology it utilizes. If that is the only game you are having issues with then it is probably safe to say that your hardware is fine.
