Hibernate on W2k

I use to have a "hibernate" option on my comp "Shut down" procedure..a week ago i have restaurated my machine and now I have that option no more. It is a Pentium II configuration with LX-chipset MB, 128MB RAM, with sound,graphic ,ethernet and SCSI controler for
CD-R ROM all in PCI slots.What should I do.....

simple solution (i hope)

start -> settings -> control pannel -> power options/settings. there should be a "hibernate" tab in there. make sure its ticked.

if that doesnt work you might want to have a look around with your devices -> computer type, but it SHOULD work
