Hidden HDD Files HELP ASAP

So i have to write this quickly so please bear with me. I while ago i revealed my hidden files on my Hard drive and found some suspicious looking files lettered/named with a bunch of numbers and letters and to me looks like i virus.I ran my AntiVirus at least 15+ times and came back clean.When i try to access the folders its telling me i need administrator permission but im the only one using the computer. last i had my dad check it out 10mins ago and it created another file and modifed my operating system. Pease help me. Thank you for reading

If the AV comes back clean odds are they are system folders/files. You can try downloading a new AV and scanning with that, but if they are the only odd things you've noticed you are probably just fine.

You are fine. Amusingly, it's probably your antivirus creating those folders(AVG, by any chance? ). You can try a different one, just to make sure.

Those are folders from updates and installations and system files. For example my MSOCache contains several files that looks like {90140000-001C-0000-0000-0000000FF1CE}-C and a Package Cache in Program Data with folders like {13A4EE12-23EA-3371-91EE-EFB36DDFFF3E}v12.0.21005

Is that what you are seeing? What folders are those in? There will be several places you can see them, including in the root of C:\

Don't rush into trying to delete things you don't know about, that is a sure way to make a working computer stop working.

Run the AV scans, but you probably won't find anything bad.

Ok I found out its an update from windows i believe. My scans have come back as clean (webroot and malawarebytes) I did a google search on it and it turned out to be a windows update. Thanks Everyone for your suggestions
