Hello there. I have a msi raider ge78hx 13vi laptop. i9-13980hx and 4090. My temps always been like 70-75(cpu) and 60-65(gpu). Since 2 weeks i notice that my cpu temps going to 95degree. I use thermaly grizzly conductonaut extreme for both cpu and gpu. I cleaned dust, repasted, formatted my laptop with usb, nothing changed. What i noticed is that in the first 20-30 minutes of gameplay my cpu temps are going from around 80 to 95 degree, and then after 20-30 minutes turns back to normal like around 65-75. Does anyone know what the problem could be ? I changed nothing in bios, everything is up to date. Temps were always been good since i use this laptop. This problem happend after i been to holiday for a week, and didnt use my laptop.Does anyone know what this could be?

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Did you recreate your bootable USB installer for your OS? Installing the OS in offline mode? Manually installing all necessary drivers in an elevated command? Speaking of installers, where did you source the installer from?

Have you tried undervolting? Check to see if your have any BIOS updates pending for your laptop.

I just downloaded windows creation tool from microsoft website. Downloaded drivers from msi website. I updated the last bios already few months ago. Undervolting is really not necessary, since i always had good temps like 70-75 cpu temperature at heavy games. After this problem started, i checked msi website for drivers and saw that they released intel me fw update recently. I installed it but it didnt help.
