[SOLVED] High cpu usage on most programs

For months I have been trying to fix this and I need someone that has a lot of knowledge about this because I am no computer part specialist, In most of my games I play I get 60%+ CPU usage even on the lowest settings

I normally only have discord running in the background because my games take up a huge chunk of my CPU. I play Sea of Thieves, Rocket League, CS: GO, Rainbow Six Siege, Overwatch, Fortnite, Apex Legends, and more on the lowest settings but they still use 60%+ of my cpu, I have downloaded the recent update of my driver, I have updated my pc, I have completely reset my pc 3 times, I've tried cleaning my pc, I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the games, but still nothing works.

Hello,

You have a lower end 7th gen I5 CPU that has 4 cores, you are going to see much more usage per core because it physically doesn’t have tons, and games these days are a good bit more demanding. That usage is definitely normal for that CPU.

The above is true. That i5 is not bad but will be used up in games when paired with a 1060. You may be able to upgrade to a core i7 7700 or a 7700k if you need more performance.
