High CPU usage while playing CS GO?

CPU: i5 6600K
GPU: MSI GTX 970
RAM : 8GB G SKILL AEGIS

GPU Usage: around 40-50%
CPU USage: 75%-90% and sometimes even 100%

I should expect more FPS from my graphics card but I don't get above 144fps constantly at max settings 1080p. I checked other users benchmark and they easily get above 200fps+. Is there something wrong? The CPU shouldn't be used up that much as well right?

Download ProcessExplorer and see what is hogging your CPU, if it's svchost, try disabling Windows update in Services and stop the running right under the drop down box(Windows search). This was the case for me
