Taken a while to get there, but it's a shame. The 6000 series was relatively interesting, at least in comparison to the utter dross of this generation.

Probably taken longer to dry up the supply than it should have because so many people were buying overpriced trash like the 3050 because brand-name something-or-other-nonsense.

I recently built my first gaming pc over the holidays. I was torn on getting a 4090 or a 7900xtx. My primate brain had a strong argument to get the 4090. Logic won in the end. I purchased 7900xtx and 7800x3d. I have no idea the difference, if my almost 40 year old eyes can even tell the difference. I have had zero issues outside of Windows 💩. I appreciate the business practices of AMD over intel and nvidia. That plays a huge part in my purchases. I spent alot of time picking the components I wanted. Minimal RGB, longevity and quality. The window for buying these cheap has kinda passed to be honest.

I sold my 6800XT in spring 2023 for $600 CAD at the time which I thought was a good deal.
