Your Monitor Resolution: very high, screen real estate is very valuable for audio editing. I might get multiple monitors, but i would prefer one big one.
Why I want to upgrade: I want to run Logic Pro comfortable with lots of midi sample libraries loaded. I have an imac from 5 years ago with 4 gigs of ram, and it crashes often from memory problems. I also would like to score video, so handling large video files simultaneously is important. My guess is that i would benefit from other upgrades besides just memory, hence this post.
