My games keep crashing ever since I changed my GPU from GTX 970 to GTX 1070 zotac mini.
These games are the ones I've tested so far
- Dishonored 2
- Assasins Creed Syndicate
- Sniper Ghost Warrior 3
Except League of Legends for some weird reason (maybe it's because it doesn't involve so much GPU usage).
MSI Z77A-G43 Motherboard
Intel Core i5-3570K @ 3.40GHz
GTX 1070
Seagate 500Gb Barracuda 3.5" Hard Drive 7200rpm 16MB
Samsung 750 EVO 2.5" 250GB SATA III Solid State Drive - Which I play games on all of them
HyperX Black Fury 16 GB RAM Memory 2 x 8 GB 1866Mhz DDR3
HTPC CPU Cooler CL-P0534 for 775, 1155 and 1156 - so It's probably not CPU getting overheated isn't it?
XFX PRO 550W P1-550S-XXB9 Power Supply - should be enough right?
So when it comes to the crash itself it does what it wants really. In Dishonored it just kicks me straight to the desktop. Assassin and Ghost warrior 3 are giving the "program stopped responding" bit.
The crashes take about 5-15 min in this range, it is really unpredictable.
I tried to fix it myself but I really can't find the solution I tried reinstalling the drivers ( yes these are the latest Nvidia drivers) also I thought I could've been caused by the on screen display and I used the RTSS and set it to "none" but it didn't work. So basically that's the story and since then I didn't do anything with it because I had no time. Also I swapped the GPU in the PCIE ports and replaced the RAM. So that's that.
