I have a high end PC and whenever I play games like Battlefield 4, Planetside 2 and sometimes WaW and I get fine frames but every once in a while its just like stops still for like 5 seconds.

Solution
sometime the gpu driver given by nvidia or amd have somes issues , and sometimes its better to come back with a older driver who work better , depending on which games you play

often i saw a bad lan driver give a freezing issues because somes software use internet to connect with the game you play

the cure is reinstall drivers or use a older one , but you need to do a complete clean of the driver you remove even the associated files should be remove

Nah, I monitored my memory usage and I even close small programs to see it help but nothing. It's the WORST in Planetside 2. BF4 it just locks up my mouse for like 2 seconds.

I thought that so I monitored temps but CPU under load is under 70C and GPU (I set custom fan speeds) never exceeds 70C also so it is definitely not thermal throttling or anything.

Okay I reinstalled my graphics drivers and I will update when I test Planetside 2 and Battlefield 4.
