[SOLVED] High gpu temps

i have a gtx 960 2gb. using msi afterburner it idles at around 66°C with the auto mode on but when playing games it can be anywhere from 85-95°C with the fan speed on 100%. It is a few years old but i dust the exterior of my components fairly regularly. i have 1 case fan that is always on 100% and have good cpu temps (all cores 40°C and under while idle). Also i dont know if this is normal or not but msi afterburner shows my gpu usage is either 0% or 100% all of the time even when i use all lowest settings in games. Just wondering if this would affect performance as i feel it does and if it is urgent or fixable without taking the card apart?

Take the cooler off and re-apply thermal paste. Should fix the issue. Just as easy as doing it on a CPU+cooler
