[SOLVED] High memory usage

Basically my memory usage is always high for example ive got 3 tabs open on google and I'm using 40% memory just using google, its now always high within games around 75%+ on rust when it used to be about 60 and my tarkov constantly crashes after 2-3 raids because of my high cpu usage ive got basically nothing open in the background apart from the default pc applications

Yes ive done multiple scan, multiple driver updates, it was even to the point i took the ram out reput it in and turnt off xmp restarted and turnt it back on

go to resource monitor. and see how ram is being use
might just be using as cache

check cpu temp? using anything for rgb?

It says im using 29%, My cpu temps are good around 60-70 and no i do not have any rgb apart from the little strip on the back of my MOBO

Thats 29% wheen having nothing open at all Discord,Spotify,Google,Steam all closed and it hits about 75-85 sometimes it usually sits around 80

Sorry for the late reply, literally only adblocker, this high ram usage happened after one of my harddrives corrupted and i had to update from windows 8 to 10 on an old one.

And like i said earlier in the thread when playing games it goes extremely high for example i done about 5 raids on tarkov earlier without restarting ect for my memory usage to be at 90% causing my game to crash and my pc needing a restart

ok. upgrade from windows 8 to 10.

backup your data. do a fresh windows 10 install

Im not on windows 8 what i meant by it is that this has all started since i upgraded my old HDD from windows 8 to windows 10

correct. sometime the update mess up windows. best to do a fresh os install
