Hi,

So few months ago i got a problem with my ping especially on Middle East Servers ( Dubai servers ).
My ping used to be between 60-50 now it's 190-200.
However, my ping in other games servers are good except Dubai servers in CSGO.
Some days if i was lucky, my ping goes back to normal but that happens randomly.
I've checked my ISP and they said "We have nothing to do about that".

i really don't know why it's happening. 🙁

So what should i do ? 🙁
wait until they turn it on again ? :S

This is the case where you kinda want to have tracert stored away when things are working good so you know what changed.

Without massive amounts of research you won't know for sure. Currently the connection goes from your ISP to level3 to the server company ISP. Now they maybe a direct connection between your isp and the server company ISP that you had been taking. If a fiber got cut or some other equipment failed they may have moved to a backup connection using level3 in london.

In any case there is not much you can do about things like this. The ISP I am sure know when they take a major failure and will work to resolve it. What you have to hope for is that this is not a contractual issue and they have not removed the direct connection for non technical reasons. It may never get fixed if you have lawyers bickering over payments.

Undersea fiber takes a long time to get fixed so you have to hope it is not that.

It's kinda disappointing but thanks for clarifying.
I hope they fix it as soon as possible 🙁

the ping went lower, can anyone what is that ?????

The ISP likely changed the router so it selected a different path. I am not real good with cities in the middle east but I think the ones in hops 6-9 are in saudi but I don't know why the delays would be what they are.

Unfortunately someone would have to understand how the interconnection work in that area to really figure this out
