High ping when I switched ISP'S

Hello all! I live in Cyprus. A small island. I recently switched isp's. I went from CYTANET to PRIMETEL.

Both with 20/1 connections.
I play Fortnite and with Cyta i'd get 50-70 ping on average to fortnite and 15-20 on speedtest.net.
With primetel, I get 40 to speedtest and 120-150 on Fortnite. I had the same ping with cyta but i called them up and they did something to my router which reduced my ping but primetel is saying they cant do anything.

Any help??

60 and 150 is noticable lol.
pls help me i cant go back to cyta due to a 2yr contract.
is there ANYTHING I can do?!

btw i tried primetel before in someone elses house and i got 70 ping to fortnite and 10 to speedtest

try different dns https://developers.google.com/speed/public-dns/

well its your ISP who has high ping, 40 ms ping is quite high on first hop
is that wifi?

cable modem, DSL, wifi

well it shouldnt matter, 40ms is like on cell phone, u should talk with your ISP
