high ping when wifi on the phone is turned on

i have this problem where my ping is over 1000 when my mom turns on wifi on her phone. and only her because mine doesn't do that. i've checked fo any updates and so on and nothing is downloading. please help

The Wifi speed will drop to the lowest connected device. So it could drop from wireless N down to A or B.

Check what wifi support her phone has. Or post the model number here.

her phone is a samsung galaxy core LTE type: SM-G386F

Odd, it says it supports wireless B/G/N. So it should connect in on the N band as I assume your PC does.

A quick google shows nothing either. Sorry
