High pitched noise

Hello guys,

Past few days I have problems with my PC. Every 5-10 minutes i can hear few sound like this.

Do you maybe know what it can be?

What it's weird computer still works as usual. I am video editor and I am using computer at maximum and works normally. I am working 10 hours without any problems.

It sounds like the beginning of a fan failure. The high pitch tone probably matches the RPM of the fan, and the bearings may have become marginal over time.

Ok, thx for an answer. Now I am copying all of my data to another "new" drive and I will disconnect old drive and see if it will help, because for me I hear small click in the end, but I don't know if it's relevant. I will keep you post it if it helped or not.

Ok, so I replaced hdd and now for the last two days I didn't hear the noise. The problem is when I am scanning drive through SeaTools software says that drive is in a good condition.

If the head is rapidly seeking on an old style hard drive it can make such noises. Defragmenting might help there. Or...the drive might be dying.
