[SOLVED] High Ram usage pr

When idle my PC is using 11 gb of ram. I have 16gb (2x8) ddr4 2666 mhz and when my pc is idle its using 10-11 gb of ram memory. I have no idea why this is happening and task manager isnt helping much, Is there any way to fix this or is it time to format the drive... If it means anything when i play games it gets up to 13-14 gb , on more demanding games it reaches the 99%

If you're on Windows 10, you might want to backup any and/or all critical data from your drive(s) and then reinstall your OS. I'd advise on creating your bootable installer using Windows Media Creation Tools. Prior to reinstalling your OS, make sure you're on the latest BIOS update for your motherboard(desktop or laptop).
