High temps during gaming

Hi I have been getting high temps while I game and was wondering if I should be worried

My cpu is an i7 - 3630qm
My gpu is a gt 650m

My cpu temp is around 80 - 90 degrees
My gpu temp is around 80

This is after I play for 2 hours

The games I used for this is saints row 2 and witcher 2

It is kinda hot, but not anything to be very worried about 😉
You might want to upgrade your cooling system for better performance (I recommend Noctua fans, or XSPC water cooling)

You should try using a laptop cooling pad and see if that helps.

all you can do is get to lower ambient temps really, turn on the AC or go into the basement to play

ummm he has a laptop, notice the 3630QM and 650M. Depending on the laptop there might be a fan profile button to speed the fans up, also make sure the laptop is getting good airflow. Most people will game with it in there lap and not get good airflow, if that's how you game then grab a board or anything flat and set the laptop on that. I've even used a large telephone book before.

I am playing on a flat wooden surface so airflow is good. I was just worried I am damaging the cpu and gpu for the high temp. The games run ok, witcher being the better of them but thanks to all that responded.

the longevity can be directly related to how hot your system is running at and for how long. More heat = slight expansion = stress = eventual break down
