High Temps on Asus Laptop

I have an old k53sv with a i7 2670qm and a gt 540m. I was getting low fps on overwatch even though it was not supposed to go that low and after installing msi afterburner i realized that the gpu using is not 100% but the cpu temps were 95-100c consistently with 30-40% usage. So i opened the laptop, there was no dust on the cooler. I will try to re-apply thermal paste when i get some but other than that (which i dont think that's the case) is there anything that i can do ?

btw the keyboard is not hot at all so i dont get how it is 100c (keeps thermal throthling)
