Hello all , i have an old Maxtor 250GB HDD that i want to sell , upon plugging it for the first time and downloading HD Sentinel to see the health of the HDD it registered that it was on 100% Performance and 75% Health , after i stored some documents from it i used DBAN to erase all data on it and plugging it again HDS showed a score of 100/98% nearly a quarter of health gained just from erasing old data on the HDD , further more i though it was some bug and went to my friends house and tested it and it shows the same results , so my question is , is that even possible for an HDD to get more health just from wiping old data from it ?
