Question Upgrade aspire m3970

Hi guys. I have an old ASPIRE m3970 with the AM p0-1-a3 motherboard. Currently there is an i7-2600 3.4g cpu installed. Can i get a faster cpu to fit in this dinosaur? thanks in advance.

No.
That is the best CPU for that motherboard.

Any viable change means changing the motherboard and RAM
And very likely the case and PSU as well.
