Never heard of the brand and that's pretty darn expensive. Is that the going rate over in the UK?

I just purchased a 9800 Pro from Gecube for around 400 dollars Au (128 Mg ram version) and it kicks arse over my old 9600XT and my Ti 4200 8X AGP. 3D mark scores were 9800 for the Ti 4200, and 15,200 for the 9800 pro. My 9600 XT was 12500.

I Hope that Helps.

Gary

Hightech is HIS, and yes the R9800PRO ice-Q is a GREAT card.

Very Quiet, Good Overclocker (but you don't like to overclock [you will likely learn to experimentafter you get this].

The R9800PRO is a good step up from the GF4ti, however if you can wait 'til the games actually ship then that would be your best course of action as the card should be cheaper by then. However if you need to buy now, then this should handle most things you throw at it and overclocking would help there too, should you later decide to do that.
