Hissing problem in speakers..

I have a thonet and Vander grun speaker(2.1) which I bought recently for my pc.
And it is working good...but when I turn the volume up or down from the speaker's volume control there is a strange hissing in the background...it doesn't happen when I change volume form the pc....but happens when I turn the volume from the speaker itself..idk why this is happening .btw rest is perfectly fine..

Replace/clean the potentiometer connected to the volume dial.
It is either broken or dirty and creates bad contact during turning/movement.
If it is new, RMA it.

you have dismantle the speakers.
I would not do it if it is still on warranty.

Looking at your question "How can I clean the potentiometer?", I do not think you are used to work with electronic components.
Thus, This is again something I would not recommend.

RMA it.
