?? hmm i' confused 7600gt....

Hiya, i have just ordered a 7600gt...., thing is I have read some conflictin' articles, statin' that the 7600gt is more powerful than its previous version, but I have found nothing on any previous release.. can anyone advise? is this the only version of the 7600gt?

The 7600 GT is more powerful than a 6800 GT and a 6800 GS...probably a 6800 Ultra also.

Which 7600 GT did you get? Please say the XFX XXX, if the 590/1600 didn't turn you on, the double lifetime warranty should have...you can sell the card and the person who buys it has a lifetime warranty. That alone can slap on 20 bucks to the card if you sell it in like 4 years.

hi Hpnotiq, thnx for the reply, i have bought the only available version in th uk that i have been able to find in the shops,.. but the question is. has the 7600gt been avaiable before the latest articles on this card..?

This is as new as the card gets...it launched in march something..i mean the drivers finally got the bad kinks out of them..so eveything is new..nothing is wrong with the 7600 GT or bad. No...the 7600 GT seriously kicks ass..it's like the 4th best Nvidia card...it'll play any game you won't on high no problem and you can squeeze AA and AS off easily.
