I need to upgrade a network switch I use to accommodate more devices, so I'm looking at some 8 port switches. Currently I have a Linksys SE2500 (5 port gigabit switch) in place. It does great for me, no problems after a couple years and seldom have to power cycle it. Can't ask for much more out of an unmanaged, plug n forget switch.
Here are the three 8 port switches I'm comparing:
Linksys SE3008 - http://www.amazon.com/Linksys-8-Port-Metallic-Gigabit-SE3008/dp/B00F3NUUF4
Netgear GS308 - http://www.amazon.com/NETGEAR-ProSAFE-GS308-8-Port-Gigabit/dp/B00KFD0SEA
HP Procurve 1410-8G - http://www.amazon.com/HP-Procurve-Ethernet-J9559A-ABA/dp/B003N1ZTC2
I realize they'll all perform just about the same but I was wondering if anyone had any insight, experiences, or opinions in regards to the three. Other suggestions are welcome as well.
