Hello everyone,

Question; I have a small office upstairs for work. My work gave me two monitors (Samsung S24E450B). Ive tried hooking my original xbox (2001) on one of my monitors I got from work but got a message ‘Not Optimum Mode - Recommended Mode 1920x1080 60Hz)'. The monitor has a DVI-D and a VGA (D-Sub) video input and is currently using the DVI one. So behind the original XBox there is a ElectronXout module (takes in the Component video and audio output from the Original Xbox and outputs an HDMI). And that HDMI cable goes into the DVI input from the screen. Any tips how to fix this? There isnt really room for a 3 monitor/tv thats why I am asking.

Thanks for help in advance.

Besides the message is there any issue, or does that message mean that it doesn't display anything?!
The xbox doesn't go up to 1080p/60 it can do 1080 interlaced in a few games but that's as high as it goes.
You would need an upscaler that turns 720 to 1080 but those are expensive.

Also if you have a half way decent PC you can emulate the original xbox and it plays very well.
