I'm planning to order parts for my new system today from newegg.com just want to make sure everything looks good before i place the order. My budget is $1100 I plan on using this build for all my gaming needs but i will also use this system for college. the only components i dont need is speakers, mouse, keyboard, OS, DVD drives, and monitor. I don't plan on OC'ing the system. I plan on running a 2560 x 1600 resolution on 2 x 24 inch monitors. Thanks in advance for any advice

I was suggested this memory from one of the forums but i still have a few questions first is im not OC'ing should is get 1333mhz memory or will 1600 mhz be better, and what timing would be best. If i decided to go with a company ive heard of like Corsair, what timing that would be suggested. The last system i built was about 5 years ago so i don't know all the new players just trying to stay within my comfort zone.

Everything is looking OK. 2560 x 1600 on 2 monitors? Thats... 1280x1600?

The only way I'd have chosen that PSU is for the same reason you did. The 'free' HDD (which is a great HDD). It's not a bad PSU-just that there are better options.

That G.Skill set of RAM is very good.
You can let the motherboard and RAM work out what timings to use - a goo chance it will be 1333. Since you're not overclocking it won't greatly matter to you and its perfectly fine to leave the memory in Auto.
