So I have been having these lines flicker each time I start the PC/monitor for several months now. They are consistent but fade slowly over time. Sometimes they're thicker and more in total. I tried switching the source of power for the monitor (was the same as the PC) and it reduces the lines somewhat.
The monitor is a AOC Q3279VWF ( https://pcmonitors.info/reviews/aoc-q3279vwf/ ).
Anyone know how to solve this issue? I doubt it's because of faulty monitor or graphics card since both work good in games otherwise and I've never had any other problems with neither of them.

now somewhat 1h later theyre all gone.

Did you find a solution? Mine does the same, It's getting worse with time. You solve it if you reduce the refresh rate to 73hz, but I suspect as it gets worse with time, 73 stops being enough and you eventually need to reduce even more.
Just out of curiosity, do you your router close to the monitor?

I haven't. No my router is in another room 5m away. Mine isnt getting worse with time so not sure if we have the same issue

Isn't this what you have?:

The monitor worked perfectly during months, then, it started showing the lines like a few seconds after power on. A little bit latter they started lasting 1 minute, as more months went buy, they last 10 minutes.
I found this thread https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/t...199-at-ocuk-for-black-friday.18797907/page-32
Seems it's a hardware problem.

yeah that problem, I have a video that I recorded in my first opening post. And yeah the lines have become worse with time but it reached a peak few months ago/last year so it's not gotten worse since then. Might be a problem with the monitor but I doubt it since when the guy in your link changed to 60hz the problem disappeared. I've seen similar problems with other models and they've solved it with changing cables and power outages meaning the power cable from pc and monitor hasnt the same source. I tried that and it got better for me. Thats why I don't believe it's a monitor issue, if it would be the lines would be persistent and not change when you change settings - but I might be wrong.

My uneducated guess is that its some power/cable interference happening. But no I haven't solved it completely yet.

But if it isn't a problem with the monitor, why did it work perfectly for months and only later this issue appears? Did you change any cables? I didn't... Doesn't make much sense. Maybe it's a problem that makes it not handle 75hz well, 60hz must be a lot easier. Some monitors aren't even native 75hz, but 60hz panels overclocked to 75hz, maybe it's the case of this monitor, since it's very cheap. It's not handling 75hz well anymore. But my guess is as good as yours....

Right, I dont know. I just checked if I have the warranty left and I have (lucky since I purchased it back in 2017). I have contacted the company from which I bought it and I'll see what they say about it.

EDIT: I just checked the settings for the frequency and it says "H. Frequency: 111 KHz. V.Frequency: 75Hz". What does it say on yours? Shouldnt it be 75hz on both horisontal and vertical?
