Hey I ordered
GPU: MSI RTX 2070 Super trio
CPU: Ryzen 5 3600x or 3600
MB: Asus TUF Gaming X570-PLUS AMD X570 4400MHz DDR4
Ram:Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB 3000MHz DDR4 Ram
1 TB HDD.
240 GB SSD.
Power supply: Corsair RM750x (2018) 750W 80+Gold Moduler ATX PSU
Monitor: Acer KG271Cbmidpx 27" 1ms 144Hz AMD FREESYNC
Case: MSI MPG GUNGNIR 100P
First my psu and graphics card arrived and my current system was
GPU: GTX 970 ASUS STRIX.
CPU: Intel Core i5- 4590 3.3 GHz.
MB: ASUS H-81 Plus.
2x8 GB RAM DDR3.
1 TB HDD.
240 GB SSD.
Power supply: Thermaltake 700W model: LP700AL2NH.
Monitor: Acer P225HQ.
Case: T hermaltake commander ms-1.
So I switched psu and graphics card since other parts were arriving late and didn't see a reason why not switch them and try it out while waiting but now when I play games with under high pressure my screen starts having horizontal flickers which is really annoying and it persists even if I alt tab.
For example when I play witcher 3 with ultra settings I get these flickers but I lowered it to medium and they were gone.
Since the monitor I am using atm is not HDMI supported I was using active converter with my old gpu aswell but never experienced any flicker before.
I was wondering what might be causing this problem and how can I pinpoint the problem. Could it be something with my old parts monitor cpu or motherboard having problem with handling new gpu or could it be simply a bad gpu hardware error.
When I am changing graphics its literally the moment I touch ULTRA settings not even after going in game and start using gpu.
Another note when I stress test mostly GPU and not so much on other parts with benchmarks like FURMARK even tho I get high stress on GPU like %99 etc I dont get any flickers.
But when I use heaven when the set is changing sometimes I get very short amount of time flickers like 2 secs not like games where it is constant.
