horizontal lines on screen

sometimes now more recently while opening allot of tabs i get horizontal lines on the monitor so sometimes if i click alt+f4 and then enter it closes the browser and i can see clearly after that so i don't know what that is sometimes i need to restart it to make it work again thanks in advance.

Sounds like either a overheating problem, video driver problem, or just plain turn off your computer and turn it back on.

but my gpu is 7970 3g oc i even downclocked it so it wouldnt get hot i play games and it doesn't do that but as soon as i use the browser that happens

what browser? Try A different one or Reinstall the one you have

i checked it and it seems it does that only after downclocking it but the settings don't get saved on the crimson software i reset it to default can any one think of anything helpfull

I donwclocked thinking that it would work less and why would i have it crunch 300 fps when i only need 150 fps on a 144 hz monitor. :/

Besides Power Consumption, Downclocking doesn't do much. Its not like its a laptop that needs to save power. If it works without downclocking I wouldn't down clock it. Are you maxing out the game? Try running it at a high resolution like 4k so that your GPU works harder, and it may look nicer. What game are you getting 300FPS anyways?

My monitor supports only 1080p its the benq xl2430t and the game is cs:go (counter-strike:global offensive)
