Hello,
Could someone please help me with my monitor problem:
I have a Mitsubishi Diamondtron 19-inch NF (natural flat) monitor. Today for some unknown reason, the horizontal position keeps flickering left and back to the right again.
I'm running it at 1024 x 768 (32bit True Color) with a refresh frequency of 100 Hertz.
I've tried 800 x 600 and it still does the same. However, at 640 x 480 there doesn't appear to be a problem.
My system:
ASUS A7V133 Mobo revision 1.04 (BIOS 1007)
ASUS V7700 32Mb GeForce 2 GTS AGP (4x) Video Card (nVidia Detonator 3 Drivers version 6.50 for Win2K)
VIA 4-in-1 Drivers version 4.32
Windows 2000 Pro (SP2) (with all Microsoft Updates installed)
AMD Duron 800Mhz CPU (not overclocked)
I have connect my wife's 17-inch computer monitor to my computer and it worked fine with no glitches. Her 17-inch computer monitor is the same as my 19-inch monitor except it's 2-inches smaller.
I have also restarted my computer several times and the problem is still there.
My monitor's user guide says that the time setting for a resolution of 1024 x 768 has a maximum vertical refresh rate of 130Hertz.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards,
Crazed Camel
