Hello. Recently I've run into an issue where in some games, particularly overwatch, i get absolutely horrible and frequent lag spikes that make the game unplayable. I reset my laptop and it did not fix it. Curiously, in VALORANT, the lag spikes only happen at the beginning of the round, and never happen again, but in overwatch, they happen consistently and make it impossible to play. I play on an old gaming laptop with an external monitor, and whenever the lag spikes happen, the laptop monitor (to my side) turns dark, and then lights up again after a few seconds. I'm really not sure what to do and any help would be great.
