[SOLVED] Horrible ghosting/text, markers wiggling when moving the camera around in Splitgate

At this point, I feel like I've tried everything. I doubt there is anything the tests I ran have not picked up that would cause specific issues in only a single game. Any suggestions are welcome tho, as I'm not that knowledgeable and there's a very real chance I missed something (even if it's something trivial).

Only happens in Splitgate, limiting the frame rate to 60 seemingly fixes the issue:

Object/2d markers (or whatever they are called) in Spellbreak for reference:

What I've tried so far:

• Tested 10+ other games with no similar issues.
• Clean installed various NVIDIA drivers (with DDU).
• Tweaked relevant Game/Windows/Monitor/NVIDIA settings (Such as g-sync, v-sync, overdrive, AA, Windows settings that are known the cause issues with some games etc.).
• Tested ghosting at https://www.testufo.com/ghosting (overdrive turned off and on strong give very noticeable ghosting/inverse ghosting but weak and medium are fine).
• Tested for any network issues at https://www.dslreports.com/speedtest (A+ on all three, with decent to good speeds: 500-750 download, 150-220 upload). I don't have any network issues in general.
• Ran memtest86+ for any memory issues (nothing); ran the in-built self-tests on both my SSDs (nothing); Benchmarked and/or stress-tested CPU/GPU with no problems, benchmark results were more than fine compared to similar systems and my old tests.
• Successfully updated the BIOS to the latest version (same issues).
• Installed Linux (Pop!_OS 21.04) on my secondary drive and ran the game from there (same issues).
• Swapped Monitor cables (same issues).
• Tested the game on a different Monitor with different cables (same issues).

Specs:

• Intel Core i5-9400f
• MSI GeForce GTX 1660 Ti ARMOR OC
• MSI Z-390 A-pro (Mobo)
• CSX 4GB DDR4 2400MHz Memory (4x4GB)
• Samsung 860 EVO 500GB SSD (System)
• Western Digital 240GB Green WDS240G2G0A SSD (Storage)
• Cooler Master 550W G550M (PSU)
• NZXT Midi H510 (Case)
• AOC G2590PX (Monitor)
• Windows 10 Pro 10.0.19042 Build 19042 (OS)

6GB GDDR6. The system recognizes all 16GBs of RAM (4x4GB sticks) and it should be dual channel (according to CPU-Z).
In you bios there should be xmp setting that's enabled. This is dual channel for you ram, if this is indeed enabled. Leave as is, there should be a xmp profile setting in the same tab if set to auto change to profile one and try this if this doesn't work try two if this doesn't solve the issue go back to profile 1 auto isn't good it will change the way the RAM runs time to time and cause it to hick up in the end
I frequent this forum a lot if I have any problems, but I have never posted here, and I'm not that knowledgeable so please bear with me. I'm not even sure if that's my issue here but it certainly makes the game unplayable.

I couldn't reproduce this in any other game I tried (Battlefield 1,4; Star Wars BF2; Guild Wars 2; Doom 2016 and many more). The only other games I recall this ever happening are Spellbreak and League of Legends but in both cases, the problem presented itself after installing a newer NVIDIA driver and went away after a rollback. I did download both and I'm not having any problems with them atm.

I also tested for ghosting at https://www.testufo.com/ghosting but I couldn't notice anything extreme/out of the ordinary (nothing like in the game itself). No overheating/any noticeable problems while running benchmarks (3DMark, Userbenchmark, Passmark PerformanceTest 10, Heaven Benchmark). Minor performance loss compared to how it used to run out of the box. No network issues either. http://www.dslreports.com/speedtest/69163683. Capping the frame rate to 60 or uncapping it completely (360fps) seems to reduce it slightly. It's weird because I can't find anyone else having similar issues with the game, so that would lead me to believe it's something with my setup but I'm not getting anything nearly this bad in any other game.

What I've tried so far:

• Clean installing various NVIDIA drivers (with DDU)
• Reverting to an older version of Windows that I knew for sure had no such problems in any of the games I played at the time (System image from 2020 December)
• Swapping Monitor cables (though I have no high-quality ones, just those which came with the monitor)
• Tested the game on a different Monitor (same issues)
• Changing NVIDIA/Monitor/Windows/Game settings that caused/solved similar issues for other people (G-sync, V-sync, Overdrive, Disable/Enable HAGS, and probably anything I could find on the first 10 pages of google search/other forums)

Upgrading to a high quality cable will help. But not solve this from it looks like it is a bug with something you have setup. Whether a upgrade file for the game is corrupted or bios configured wrong there's some underline issue that's not common. Have you made sure that all drivers are up to date on the motherboard side of things? Plus the bios?

Drivers should be updated. The BIOS is quite old (early 2019 version, latest is early 2021 I believe) but since the update logs showed nothing significant I didn't want to mess with it (don't want to brick something if I don't really have to). I tried uninstalling both Steam and Splitgate and removing any leftover files then reinstalling, but it didn't fix it so I'm not sure if it's because of corrupted game files. I did however capture a video that better describes the issue.

(The player teleporting around is just a replay issue, the text and whatnot behave the same way in a real game). No ghosting anymore. Capping my FPS at 60 almost, if not completely, fixes the issue. At 138 FPS all 2d objects (or whatever they are) seem to wiggle/lag behind like crazy when I move the camera. If I disable the HUD, the game looks butter smooth. I might try updating the BIOS and see how it goes. I will also be able to get a better cable next week but I'm not sure anymore because it definitely doesn't seem to be a global issue.

Is motion blur on?

Yes, I assume. There is no in-game setting for it. I tried turning it off via the config file but the command I found doesn't seem to work anymore. I also updated the BIOS but to no avail sadly. Did get some small but noticeable performance boost tho. I also tested the game with "unlimited" FPS (500) and it seems to have the same effect as capping it at 60.

Go into your graphics options ingame and turn Post Processing and AA to low.

How many gigs is your 1660? And in your spec list it says you have 4gbs of ram then says 4x4gbs so is it 4gigs of ram or 16gigs of ram? And if you have 4x4 sticks of ram are they in dock or "dual channel" as its called
