Horrible performance after fixing bent pins.

My AMD-FX 8350 pins were bent terribly bad. It would not even boot. Now It boots and everything is running, but terrible performance! Are the bent pens causing this? I noticed at idle im at 57c. I know this is not normal because before my pens were bent I was at 52c under max load.

Its a cooling problem not a performance problem. You are experiencing throttling under load. You probably didn't reinstall the cooler properly.

Fixed it. Motherboard was stuck on slowmode.

Yeah. It was a little switch. Must have hit it during cleaning.

Why would some even want to slow down their system? Its all done automatically...
