Hot swapped my RAM

Hello everyone, yesterday I hot swapped my RAM, never thought this would happen but I thought it was off when really it was in sleep mode. Please give me a best case scenario and a worst case scenario.

Worst case, blown up everything to kingdom come, best, nothing bad happened. You'll never know until you reset CMOS and try again.
