hotspot problem. can't connect mobiles to hotspot

Hello everyone..
today I bought a wifi adapter [ TP-LINK TL-WN727N Wireless N150] and was trying to create hotspot and share my desktops internet. Installed drivers and tried connectify hotspot tool but it didn't worked. Then I tried to manually configure the hotspot, i followed this blog post- http://turboblaze09.wordpress.com/2014/07/12/wifi-hotspot-with-usb-wifi-adapter/
Now the hotspot showed up but can't connect my mobiles. now it stuck on OBTAINING IP ADDRESS. even after 10 minutes nothing happened. Any suggestion or solution ..??

if you cant get an answer here, try linus tech tips forum. they had a long running deal with hotspot shield and had some support/faq's as well as technical help on there site.
