How are Supermicro motherboards

I am building a workstation computer with a Xeon computer and I had a question. How are Supermicro motherboards? I mean quality wise how are they compared to the big name companies like Gigabyte and Asus. I was looking at two server motherboards one from Asus and one from Supermicro. I like the Supermicro better but I don't know I never really heard of them.

Many servers and rack mounts use SuperMicro boards. They don't end up be used by many people unless its being used as a server or workstation.

At my work, we spec a high end rack mount that is a dual Xeon configuration using a SuperMicro board. Never any problems from the motherboards.
