what's the best site that has the most helpful thing for knowing what is currently the best value ram?

need a massive chart / graph of the best ram to see what's the currently the best value ram
  • or something helpful
seems like speed/performance of RAM:
  • is based on 'frequency and CAS' latency, dunno what that means
anyway, i need a massive chart / graph of the best ram to see what's the currently the best value ram
  • or something that's helpful
best value is always gains : cost

best value = speed of ram and overall benefits of ram : overall price

---

because newer versions of ddr ram historically has apparently never worked with outdated versions of mobos
  • we now are looking for the currently best value ram

we need to know how much the ram is worth
  1. how much benefit does various ram speed give if you're watching a youtube?
  2. how much benefit does other ram specs give if you're watching a youtube?
  3. how much benefit does various ram speed give if you have the app discord open?
  4. how much benefit does other ram specs give if you have the app discord open?

take cpu 2200g as the example,

the main thing that i've taken away about ram so far seems to be:
  1. ram brand does not matter
  2. all ram made in same factory

we can just get ddr1 or ddr2 then? at any speed? and other ram specs?

how are we suppose to know which ram to pick if we dont know the gains or benefits?

we need to know how much the ram is worth

how are we suppose to build a pc without knowing the gains? isnt it just better and easier to get a premade desktop or laptop?

I have actually done personal testing with my ryzen system.

Going from 1 stick of ram to 2 yielder higher cinebench performance. Turning xmp on to 3200mhz yielded even higher performance on top of that.

A quick google search can yield you as much as we can give you.

without having a good idea, there would be no way to value any pcs out there

without any good ways to value, there would be no possible way to know what is better or best

If you want to buy ready made PC . then dont bother much, They will use the standard Memory for the CPU and all have the same performance.

If you do it yourself the you can choose better RAM.

You seem talking about Ready made PCs in the Market you want to judge.. forget it , most of them are the same. only few will offer you different RAM to choose from and will cost you 50% more than DIY .. which will destroy the best Value for money you are after.

And you wont find a Master reference as I said because it is impossible to make... it will be a huge DATA and needs to hire people to keep updating it , and will need to test systems 1000 times with each RAM model .

FORGET IT

What are you trying to accomplish?
Are your questions to find the best ram for a prospective build?
Perhaps you are looking to write a term paper?
or???

The best ram is first of all ram that is supported by the motherboard that will be used.
Without that as a starting point, following questions are useless.

"the main thing that i've taken away about ram so far seems to be:

This concerns me. Your knowledge seems so low that you are not even ready to be worrying about maximizing the price/performance of any components. Or was it just hyperbole?

how do the companies know what is the standard ram?

is there a chart list graph somewhere that shows the standard?
Motherboard and CPU and RAM companies all work together to create compatible components.

A list? Each motherboard manufacturer will have a QVL.
Qualified Vendor List. This will list known good RAM modules. Others will work, but these are the known tested ones.
