I heard there really bad but that was for the 350 watt psu’s

The computer I’m looking at had a 450 watt and I’m honestly not an hardcore gamer so I won’t be overclocking or any of the sort. Will the psu ruin the computer Guaranteed? As I won’t be doing anything hardcore that may stress the computer to where the psu would fry or whatever. The only things I really do are watching YouTube, editing video games, recording, and gaming for games like overwatch, fortnite, rainbow six siege and some cod.

Will doing these tasks fry my psu or would I be fine. Any tips or info are appreciated!

It depends on the brand/model. Some cyberpower PC's ship with really high-quality components. Some of the others ship with really bad ones. Cyberpower won't ship a PC that has insufficient power, but at only 450W, the build PROBABLY won't be built with OC'ing in mind. What are the specs of the system you're looking at?

It’s the i5 8400
And rx 580
1 Tb
And 8 gb Of ram
It seems everything is good but I can’t really trust myself to get it as the psu is questionable but I heard the 350 watt ones were the worst of the worst

What is the full price you're paying, and what is the full parts list. Including whatever make/models they'll tell you.

$699 is a little bit below what you can build it yourself for. (with better parts)

And then add the OS cost of ~$90.

However...
Cyberpower is well known for crappy assembly, and mediocre parts where people don't notice.
Will it work? Probably.

Just don't plan on making any part upgrades, unless you also change the PSU. And maybe other things.

Alright, ya I know about their shady practices and stuff but if I don’t notice anything like my pc not working or something I don’t really care. I’m just looking to have a decent pc to be a good editor and get better with my friends at overwatch and fortnite.

I definetly am not planning on making upgrades anytime soon till I eventually get a job or anything. I plan on keeping things simplish although I probably will try and upgrade the psu later on in around December when sales are up. Thanks for the help as I’m kinda sceptical since I tried upgrading my old Pc to put in a 1060 but unfortunately my motherboard died out on me and my pc is relatively old and unkept since I had it since I was in 5th grade (now in 8th)
