How bad will E8400 GTX 650 TI bottleneck?

The answer is, it will be vastly better wether it is held back a little or not.

It will be twice as good as what you have now.

Dont use an amd card because this will increase the risk of needing a system re install. Grt the 650.
You can use it when you upgrade the pc.

Twice as good I like the sound of that.... Lol. Will I be able to play BF3 medium? Also how would black flag and some other games run Crysis 3 Crysis 2 etc.

Let me put it this way: the majority of the time, the CPU will be the limiting factor.

I have a somewhat slower Core 2 Duo E6700 and it occasionally bottlenecks a MUCH slow Radeon 6670

I dont really like hearing the term "Bottleneck". Your system will ALWAYS have a Bottleneck, be it the HDD, CPU, GPU Etc.

If you have the money, go ahead and buy a GTX 650TI Boost, or GTX 660. Might as well. Its going to be better no matter what.

And If you decide to upgrade your platform later, you will have a good video card. Not buying a cheaper card then having to upgrade the Platform and the Video card again in the future.

Although a 660 is probably too much at this point. Might as well go with the 650ti

500w HEXA 80+ PSU
GTX 650 TI 1 GB GDDR5

I played bf3 with 650ti and e8400 on High. It ran decently. Recently I replaced the 650ti with gtx660, runs even little more smoothly. I can post some fps if ur interested (gtx660).
But I am changing the intel with fx6300 build soon tho for bf4 ready kinda system 🙂
