Hello,

I have installed a 1TB ssd installed in my laptop. The laptop has a 512MB NVME m.2 drive as the main boot drive.

I am going to install productivity software like photoshop, 3D rendering software, video editing software and video games.

Should I put the games on the 1TB ssd? What would be the best way to set it up?

I would put the files and programs you use most often on the 512gb NVME. You could use the 1tb drive to house project files, raw footage, lesser used files/programs and anything that would fill the 512gb.

So put Steam and other programs onto the SSD?

OS, applications, and your Steam client on the existing 512GB.
Steam games and whatnot on the new 1TB.
