ASUS R9 280 3GB DirectCUII
Kolink 600W ATX-

If you compare it with my old setup:

Just by looking at the core parts would you say its worth ?

Solution
Hello ! Late answer but i decided to go with the addons i pointed because i think its cheap price for only 260€ since you didnt totally destroy that build i hope it was not horrible upgrade D: ! The build you suggested will probably cost lot more money because i would have to get it new, i got this build used with some warrantys left so i dont mind! But yeah like i stated i hope it wasnt a terrible buy !
edit: and also ryzens all use the same slot i think so atleast i can upgrade it later !
The CPU is much slower. The GPU is nearly identical. The PSU is likely garbage (unknown brand). Those old Seagate hard drives have a horrible reliability record.

The only improvements are a garbage SSD, slightly more RAM and a larger hard drive. I'd just upgrade the RAM and buy a good quality SSD for your current machine.

Hello again ! And yes it is my current setup. And the pc i would go for is only 350€ nearly new with some warrantys left. If you think its not worth 350€ my budget for a new build would be only around 300-400€ + the amount i can get for old probably 200-250€

I'd upgrade your old system to this for now.

Next upgrades I would go with would be this as you want a SSD for better speed and your PSU may not be good however let us know what model it is.

Then upgrade the GPU to whatever the best mid range GPU is at the time of upgrade.

While you current system is older it's still ok if your gaming at 1080P/60hz or less. As long as your PSU is decent I'd recommend overclocking the CPU & GPU a bit to get the most out of it for now and save up some more money for a better upgrade.

You mean keep what? 670 ? that pc costs 400€ so i think not worth if my gpu is better. But srsly 670 is better than 1050ti wtf ?

If thats the case i am starting to think i just upgrade this is there any decent cpu i can fit to this motherboard ?

Your CPU is already great. Upgrade your RAM first. Most games use up to 8gb of RAM nowadays

no, you are maxed out with that i7 860

you can however get an aftermarket cpu cooler and overclock it

then sell the 670, upgrade to a gtx 1060 6gb, and buy 16gb of 1600 ddr3

save some money, and wait for the next gen of intel or ryzen cpu's and do a full upgrade then

1060 6gb almost same price that i have used to this build lmao. Do you think upgrading from 6gb to 12gb ram would effect gameplay for example i have some issues playing gta v on heavily modded servers You think ram would help ?

And also is this decent buy ? Kingston ValueRAM 4 GB 1600MHz NON-ECC DDR3, CL11

More RAM won't hurt. 6GB is pretty light for a lot of new games. That Kingston should be fine. If you are already using all four RAM slots. I'd get an 8GB RAM kit. As a 4GB kit would only give you an extra 2GB in that situation.

Because of the mining surge. GPU prices have gone insane the last week or two. I'd hold off on that upgrade until prices come back down. A GTX 1060 6GB should run about $275.

Heck, even a used GTX 970 has climbed north of $200 when they should be closer to $130. Same with a GTX 1050 Ti, which is around $200 right now. When they ran around $135.

It's probably cheaper buying a prebuilt gaming computer off Newegg right now than to build yourself.

Mind try to find me full build computer from newegg? I am on probably too low budget 400€

I was just thinking in terms of the cost vs doing it yourself. I don't think you'll find anything new in that budget.

Have you considered buying used? I don't know about the EU. In the US you can find some pretty sweet used systems on eBay in the $400 range.

There are a few example on eBay Deutschland which sold in the 400€ range. With a higher end third or fourth generation Core i5 or i7 and a GeForce GTX 970 or GTX 780. Many of which are overclocking capable models.

If you can. Get Ryzen 1400 CPU. The Ryzen 1400 is considerably better than the 1200. The Simultaneous Multi-Threading (SMT) improves CPU performance. It should have a longer useful life.

Do you need a Mini-ITX motherboard for some reason? Get a ASRock Fatal1ty AB350 Gaming K4, MSI B350 Tomahawk, MSI B350 Krait or ASUS Strix B350-F Gaming Motherboard. So, you will have some expansion slots and four RAM slots.

If you need Mini-ITX. Since it only has two RAM slots. Get 16GB RAM instead of 8GB. So, you won't have to replace the 8GB kit in the future.
