I'm new to interconnection and have a question about it. I searched much, but could not find any direct answers about it.
Lets say we have smallest number of nodes for interconnection, two identical server computers with 4-way AMD sockets and AMD Opteron 6380 CPUs each, also 192GB RAM for each server.
My question is how many QDR 40Gb/s ports do we need for the best interconnection performance for this kind of servers?
